About the event
Salim Chalela Naffah, Matias Ramirez, Martha Liliana Marin, Durys Esther Ríos Kerguelén and Luis Franco will be launching their book, Making Way for Transformative Policies and Innovation in Latin America, in-person on Thursday 19th October in Valle del Cauca. It is a joint work of the members of the Latin American HUB of transformative innovation and contains a systematic reflection on the relevance and applicability of this approach in the region.It is aimed at academics, students, public policy actors, NGOs and people interested in how to carry out public policy towards a just transition towards sustainability in Latin America.
This book represents a milestone in the convergence between development studies and sustainable transitions, building bridges towards a more sustainable and equitable future.
The book arises from two years of collaboration with the HUB Latin American and Caribbean Transformative Innovation (HUBLAyCTIP), associated with the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC). Explores the experiences of transformation in various population and marginalised sectors in Latin America.
