María José Menéndez Basse


María José Menéndez Bass has a Master in Innovation and Management of Technology based Entrepreneurship of the University Adolfo Ibáñez, and is a Veterinary Doctor of the University of Chile. I have participated in several projects and organizations that seek to enhance the positive impact of knowledge, technology and innovation in people's lives, in connection with the sustainable and inclusive development of the country. I have experience on the design and evaluation of research and innovation policies in the public sector, particularly working for the National Innovation Council for Development of Chile. And also, from the perspective of organizations that implement policies through programs and initiatives, related to my experience as the Director of the Department of Studies and Strategic Management in the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research of Chile (CONICYT). I also have a background, in the beginning of my career, as a researcher and project manager of applied biotechnology projects for the aquaculture industry.
