The Colombian ministry of science, technology and innovation, Colciencias, has published guidelines to inspire regional policy makers, academics, and civil society in alternative approaches to regional policies and programmes that use TIPC’s transformational approach. The guidelines encourage regional diversity in STI policy and application, enabling regional councils to determine what actors and sectors have transformative potential in their local area. The document follows on from the LibroVerde 2030, and is the result of a year’s work on the ground led by SPRU and supported by Colciencias. The impact of the work is demonstrated through seven case studies in a short video piece detailing transformative change in the regions.
