MEXICO CHOOSES TRANSFORMATIVE INNOVATION POLICY CASE STUDY

TIPC Consortium members has decided upon a regional case-study that demonstrates potential for Transformative Innovation Policy in Mexico: “The transformation of the value chain of the Mayan Octopus sector in Yucatan.”   On April 24th  and 25th, SPRU team members in collaboration with CONACYT, the Yucatan Development Agency (AGY), the British Council and the Newton Funds, further explored the Pulpo Yucatan initiative that aims to strengthen and enhance the Mayan Octopus fisheries within the Yucatan region.
