Alejandra (Sandra) Boni has joined the Executive Committee of the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation (Eu-SPRI), in order to help strengthen a European network of researchers and policymakers working on transformative innovation policies under the umbrella of the TRIP-EuHub – a joint initiative of TIPC and Eu-SPRI.
The Eu-SPRI Executive Committee is the Forum’s main decision-making body. Its responsibilities include selecting the annual programmes supported by Eu-SPRI and assessing proposals to host its high-profile annual conference and other scientific events.
Sandra is a researcher at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) and Full Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Together with Eu-SPRI Forum President Mattias Weber, she leads the TRIP-EuHub. One area currently being developed through the Hub is a proposed European industrial doctorate programme focused on the formative evaluation of transformative innovation policies.
As Sandra stated: “We are now working to develop a European industrial doctorate programme with 8 Eu-SPRI institutions and a wide network of local and national governments across Europe.” Led by INGENIO (CSIC-UPV), the proposal brings together eight Eu-SPRI research centres alongside national, regional and local government organisations that would co-supervise doctoral research.
