Swedish Innovation Agency Activates a Transformative Approach

News

The Swedish Innovation Agency and TIPC member, Vinnova, kick off their in-country Transformative Innovation Policy (TIP) project with a capacity building, deep learning and coproduction workshop.

The ‘Transformative Learning Journey’ for policymakers is specifically designed to ask, ‘How can science, technology and innovation policy, on both a social and technical level, be transformative to reach the Sustainable Development Goals?’ Researchers from TIPC partners – the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) from the University of Sussex Business School; the Centre for Global Challenges (UUGLOBE) at Utrecht University; and INGENIO from University of Valencia – are working alongside the policymakers to devise policy experimentation programmes for Vinnova’s key strategic focus on the SDGs which surround food and health.
