Christian Hübel

Biography

Christian Hübel is Head of the Department of Democracy & Strategy in Mannheim and serves on Eurocities’ Urban Agenda group as well as the Executive Committee of UN-Habitat’s World Urban Campaign.

His work focuses on localizing the Sustainable Development Goals and improving urban governance. He contributed to Mannheim’s change² project to modernize administrative processes, which helped the city receive the 2013 German Sustainability Award in governance.
