Diana Suarez

Biography
Diana has a PhD in Economics of Innovation, Aalborg Universitet, Denmark and a PhD in Social Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, Argentina; has a Master in Management of Science, Technology and Innovation and a degree in Industrial Economics, Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento (UNGS), Argentina. She is a professor and Secretary of Research at the Institute of Industry (UNGS). She is a senior researcher at the Centro Interdisciplinario de Estudios en Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación and vice president of the Scientific Committee of the Lalics network. She is a specialist in the field of innovation theory, development, and the study of STI policies. As a consultant, she has collaborated with the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, the Ministries of Production and Employment, and Economy, as well as with international organizations, such as UNCTAD, ECLAC, UNDP, IDB and IDRC. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science, technology, innovation systems and development.
