Jeffrey Orozco

Biography

Ph.D. at the Faculty of Planning and Development, Aalborg University, Denmark. Master in Economic Policies, National University, Costa Rica. Bachelor in Economics, University of Costa Rica. With extensive experience in research and teaching in the areas of innovation economics, trade and environment and sustainable development. He has published in several national and international publications. He was Executive Director of the Commission of Workers Cooperatives and Adviser of Cooperatives of INFOCOOP and CONACOOP. He has worked at CINPE-UNA since 1994, and was director of that Institute from 2014 to May 2019. He has also participated in several international projects in different collaboration networks and has been a business advisor for several years. He is part of several collaboration networks such as LALICS and GLOBELICS. He has participated in consultancies for the IDB, ECLAC, WWF, CCAD, FUNDE and several national entities such as MICITT, MEIC, ARESEP, among others.
