Kejia Yang

Biography
Kejia Yang has worked on TIPC as a doctoral researcher at SPRU, University of Sussex Business School. Her research focuses on how new entrants interact with incumbents to shape the socio-technical system transformation towards sustainability. She specifically investigates the interactions among technological change, actors’ strategies, and institutional change. Her doctoral study examined how different actors interact to shape wind and solar power development in China both at the national level but also in two of China’s provinces, Inner Mongolia and Jiangsu. Her role in TIPC has included working closely with the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development (CASTED) on application of Transformative Innovation Policy in China.
